I think I have the bolt body for this action if someone needs it.

I have 3 bolts for this action. Two with .473 heads one with .532

That would be unusual for this old action. I had a very difficult time finding a short bolt for one when I needed it.

Flat back rear bolts arent hard to come by like i said i have 3. I also have round back bolts

The only difference between the flat and round back bolts are the flat top on the rear baffle and the handle. They are interchangeable as those differences are cosmetic and if desired will swap the correct parts easily.

I know this that's why there not hard to come by

The pre '66 bolts had a different bolt head if I'm not mistaken. Was it possible to use the newer bolts in the older guns?

Im not sure on that I know there were different, think Savage came up with a anti binde mod just like Remington did to the 721,722, and 725 and renamed it the 700

Not if you're using the older barrel too. The early bolt heads had deeper recess to the bolt face, therefore the barrels had shorter chambers to headspace properly.

Replacing just the bolthead DOES NOT WORK, because the cross pin is 90 degrees different from old to new models.

I've not tried to make a newer bolt work in an early 60's gun, but the lugs are in the same plane dimensionally. I'm gonna ask the Savage gurus on SavShooters.
