Alaska Brewing makes a good IPA. Their APA is my go-to beer.
They have a new, seasonal IPA out that I'm going to try this weekend.
I bet it's good too. When I was in Fairbanks I would make the drive each night out to the Silver Gulch Brewery pretty good stuff there too.

Not an true IPAs but Bell's Two-hearted ale is usually outstanding, very complex hops.
I had some Wind River Wyoming pale ale last summer that was excellent. Taste might have been aided by the mountain where I was camped.
Summit Saga IPA is very good

I've had their products also. Not worth a nightly drive from here. Ever hit the Blue Loon?

The owner who brewed the beer and built the company is still probably trying to get the knives out of his back. I asked a mutual friend how he was doing the other day. He said he was the angriest rich guy he'd ever seen!
Kinda odd they went after Elysian anyway. They made about 50k bbls a year but operate 4 pubs. I wouldn't of guessed InBev would of wanted anything to do with that.
Oh well.

Hop Stoopid is fugging awesome by the way. I can drink gallons of it.
Travis No schit, that is my driving beer. Driving a lawn mower, or do you mean high-speed interstate driving? What I figured I was being responsible by not drinking bourbon or scotch.

If you're into heavy, darker beers, try "Dragon's Milk" by New Holland Brewing. Out-freakin'-standing.

If you're into heavy, darker beers, ... I used to be. My 'dart-night' beer was Heineken dark. Then I found the hops....

3 Floyds Brewery and Sun King Brewery in Indi-fuggin-anna, of all places, both make some outstanding beer.

Ruthless Rye is my favorite. Not a huge IPA guy by any means, but it ranks in my top three. Wait four.

Lagunitas "Day Time" is probably the best breakfast beer I have ever had.
Their regular IPA is also very good.

Breakfast beer to me is New Belgiums Frambozen.
Haven't had one in probably 10 years, but as soon as someone mentions breakfast and beer, I want one.
