Have an Outback. Great in snow and is a great fit for short trip Bird hunting with a couple Dogs.
When they asked what I liked about the Outback, my reply was that I was amazed with how well it handled snow along with the fact I was a hunter and it fit some of those requirments fairly well.
Perhaps if more hunters let them know their positive thoughts they would include them in their marketing plan. If enough do they will.
Toyota is more and more marketing certain models towards the gay crowd. Wonder how that came about?

Wouldn't bother me where they rode... side, middle, left side, if they could travel at the speed limit... otherwise you are an impediment.

No, the bicyclist pays no tax at the pump to keep up the roads.. none. If they're traveling at bicycle speed to the right of the fog line and way over on the shoulder...a part of the road that you don't normally drive on...how is that "an impediment"...? People who have nice road bicycles also drive cars, and they pay the same tax at the pump to keep up the roads as you do. The same.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

Living and working in rural or mountain areas, one's attitude toward bicycles, kayaks, and other such city folks activities, that come in hordes on weekends and summers and tend to cause change's to the entire area, in many ways causes a person to see these folks a different light, that isn't always so positive.

Not True. In Colorado now ,if you pass them, you must be at least 3ft away, causing you to go into the other lane. Bad on a two lane highway with no shoulder. You are permitted to cross the yellow line if it is safe, but if there is traffic coming from the other direction ,you sit in back of them at 15 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. I'd say that is an impediment.

School buses are the road impediment I run into most.
