More than two dozen Democrats in the House and Senate — and one Republican — want to give the U.S. attorney general the power to block the sale of guns and explosives to known terrorists, and also to anyone who is “appropriately suspected” of being a terrorist.
The Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act was introduced this week by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.). They say it makes no sense that people on the terrorist watch list are prohibited from boarding airplanes in the United States, but are still free to buy guns and explosives. Sales could be blocked to anyone known to be involved in terrorist activities, or anyone who is “appropriately suspected.” That term is used throughout the bill but is never defined, and would likely be a cause for alarm by defenders of the Second Amendment who might worry about giving the attorney general too much discretion in deciding who is “appropriately suspected” of terrorism.
Labels have meaning. This is why we are being labeled, right wing terrorists.

Yesterday I heard on the radio anyone who has a few months supply of food and more than one gun with a box or two of ammo is considered a potential terrorist. Also almost all returning vets are considered potential terrorists! If you own a Bible you probably become scary to the feds.

Because I was a licensed CDL driver, I was immediately suspect when the DHS was established. I was forced to provide proof of my 56 1/2 years as a Child Born Abroad to US Parents when my license came up for renewal. They questioned my immigration status. I was born in Nuremburg in 1958, came home 6 months later. I never immigrated. 20 months elapsed before I was cleared regardless of my standing citizenship for 50+ years. I was also sent a letter asking me to declare my citizenship choice.
