From the looks of that tail and teeth he's no spring chicken.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Things got a little breezy out there yesterday. 142yds with the CZ took some windage adjustment. Shot three got him dead.

Had a good day on the killing fields, pics and a little text to follow later this weekend.

Stay tuned.

Are your populations consistent up there from year to year? seems boom and bust here in Utah and also where i shot them today in Idaho. Some years they're everywhere, others its slim pickins.

Had a good time today, went with 150rds and came home with spent hulls.Good but not the 500+ rounds a day type that it can be.

I made it up pretty high on the hill today, we are a good month ahead of spring here.

No. Populations arent consistent at all. Yesterday we hit a couple fields that hadn't produced in the last five years, and burned 800 rounds of 223 and 204. Ground completely dug up.

Nash and I have been having good luck on our spring beaver line, and have fit in some prairie dog blasting as well.... The weather has been gorgeous.

While Nash and I were out and about a couple days ago looking for sheds, Nash walked out a ridge and this coyote jumped up.. Nash skinned his .22 smokewagon and took aim at the running coyote, which was about 80-100 yards away, and shot at it. He hit it in the neck, and down it went. It needed a finishing shot, but still, to drop a coyote at 100 yards with a .22 revolver is no small feat.
