I have a .54 cal muzzleloader I'm trying to value. Couldn't find anything similar on gunbroker. It looks like a traditional percussion style sidelock, but it has a stainless barrel and synthetic stock. It also has an adjustable peep sight. The lock is plated to match the barrel, possibly nickel plated. I believe it is Italian made and was sold through Cabelas.

The two I'm familiar with are American & Spanish. Try doing a Google search on each to match-up the rifle looks.

sounds like a thompson center grey hawk.
Lyman deer hunter in stainless steel is another possibility.

Had a Grey Hawk, should be easy to figure out if it was. Thinking the Lyman.

There isn't a manufacturer's name on the barrel?

There is an "I" stamped on the barrel which from my research is Investarm in Italy. The box shows that it was made in Italy and it was made for Cabelas.
Online, under Investarm, it shows that they make a similar looking Lyman muzzleloader.

Post some pictures... that would help us estimate it's value. Once they see it, some of our more informed members may know exactly what it "is" and what it's value is as well. Strength & Honor... Ron T.

You sure it's synthetic? Many Italian MLs had black painted wood. Depending on condition, $0-$250 + maybe $50-$75 for the peep if it's a Lyman or T/C.
