Anyone have experience with this scope. I'm thinking of putting one on a Rem. 513 Matchmaster.

Doubletap;
I have a Bushnell 4200, 6-24x40 side parallax adjustment with mil-dot reticle.
The good;
Compact size
Ultra clear optics
Precise adjustments
Finger adjustable turrets

The bad;
1/8 per click adjustments, makes it almost impossible if you dial for long range.
Limited adjustment range.

As a medium range small varmint scope it's excellent

It's not appropriate for true long range.

It's a fine scope if it fits your application.

It's a .22 Rimfire. I don't know what qualifies as long range for that but it might be fun to try some 200 yd targets.

I have that scope with adjustable objective and duplex reticle on both of my .17 Fireballs and really like the clarity. I wouldn't consider mine to be compact. I'm shooting to 300 yd. with the Fireballs. I don't dial ranges on my scopes though because the Fireballs are pretty flat shooters at the range I shoot them.

Doubletap,
200ys with a .22rf would be considered long range. I don't have the drop charts in front of me, but am pretty sure you would have to dial for that.
I guess my point was the scope isn't suitable for dialing.
I have mine on a 204 Ruger and use the mil dots or holdover and wind holds.
That gun is for prairie dogs, ground squirrels etc....

If you dial you may want to look at something like the Super Sniper scopes by SWFA.

The side parallax model is much smaller than the objective parallax model

Without at least a 20moa base You will not be able to get to 200 yds. with a 22lr. I have both the AO and the side focus models. nice clear scopes. I have them on 22lr's and they make 100 yds. barely. Nice but not enough adjustment.

I did not know that. Thanks for sharing. Now I'll have to look for a side parallax model too! wink Nice rifle too by the way!

I had a couple of the small side-focus 6-24's that I let go in a moment of weakness. I truly wish I kept them, nice size, great optics and perfect tracking. I have been keeping my eyes open for a replacement but no luck so far, they seem to be fairly hard to find.
