Sue and I saw this movie today. I was thinking we were going to see a biography of the guy who drags a cross all over the country. It wasn't. It started with a guy dragging a cross but that was the end of him. It has good guys, bad guys, a doctor with a God complex, and even a money hungry lawyer. We enjoyed the surprising action. Cybal Shephard and Lee Majors were supporting actors.

So, do you recommend it?

Absolutely. Some of the action scenes, especially the multi-car crash, are fantastic.

Wow, so many notable actors. I will seek this out.

I saw the guy dragging a cross one time along the coast highway a few years ago so was looking forward to learning about him; thinking it wass a documentary. But it's not. It's about the ripple effect when the guy who is dragging the cross encounters a pastor. And what happens in that circle. In that first scene there is a car thief in the back ground stealing a car. The cross dragger goes to the car and talks to the guy for a minute, and the ripple effect from that conversaton. The guy with the cross is not seen throughout the movie.

The bad guys do what bad guys do. You know, like steal and kill. The good guys do what good guys do. Like go out of their way to help others. A soldier comes on the scene in a suicide scene. I don't want to tell to much, but there is some humor. He's gonna jump off the bridge and sees a young woman getting ready to jump and he saves her, but they don't live happily ever after.

At one point the bad guys are engaged in killing each other and start chasing each other. In the mean time some good guys are helping homeless by taking them to the hospital or some other good guy errand. Other good guys are giving someone else a ride. I could see they were all headed for the same bridge. A major accident is more or less the clymax of the movie. Certainly more action than I expected since I was looking to see a biography of the guy dragging the cross.
