Have any of you tried out the new ones with the side focus? I have an earlier 6-24x40 4200 that I really like and also a Sightron with side focus that is great also. Just to try something different I have been thinking of the Nikon Monarch 6.5-20x44 BDC that seems to get great reviews. I do like the side focus option but the Nikon is a bit less spendy from what I can find. Is Doug the go to guy for Nikons?? I have not contacted him yet. Thanks, TB

I have not tryed one myself. One of the guys at the club drives one. He loves it so far. Although I really like the monarchs, I don't care for the high turrets on the 6.5x16.5. I think if you shopped around you could find the 4200 for less than the Nikon. WDO
