Did some walking around at the Soo Mich gun show today.
Saw an EG in 300 Sav that was tagged $400 and was in real nice shape and when I went back an hour later the tag was stroked out and replaced with $450, haha. Also when I went back there was a post-mil 99F in 358 sitting beside it for $980.
Also saw a pre-war 99R in 300 Sav, 3 point checkering with a bit of bluing worn off the barrel but otherwise in nice shape for $550. I memorised the gunshops name and city if anyone wants to give them a holler on Tuesday and see if they still have it.
Other than that just a bunch of hybrid rats, an 1899H in 22 HP with some real awful homemade checkering for $650 and a 1899H solid frame in 303 with a sanded down to almost nothing forearm for $500.
Saw a real sweet Savage 620 TD in 20 ga for $225 and if I could bring guns back to Canada with me that would have been the gun I would have grabbed up.
Got to visit with Mike the Marbles sight guy for about a half hour and he sent me home with two ziplock bags full of Redfield sight parts. I love horsetrading with him.

I kicked around about going to that show, wish id know you were going but still a bit of a drive for me! The last two gun shows I went too, dealers were talking bout the up comeing Soo show. said it was a good show!

It's pretty much everyone in the U.P. at that show so you get a lot of stuff for sale from all over.
Mike was saying he even took his stuff to Colorado to some shows over that way last year.

John, Quit stuttering!  Joe, 1st weekend in April? Will try to make it next year. Need to visit my relatives in Michigan anyway as I haven't been there since '08. Maybe we'll finally meet for that coffee or perhaps an adult beverage. No more cigars or airplane bottles in the packages anymore. Promise.
