What sucks is Stoolhead. You've a fine rifle, that will do everything you will ask it to do. Even if you can't make Hondo's work, doubtful a few grains would change the outcome on game. Beautiful rifle, and welcome to the fire. A 1-10" twist sucks. Please tell me all the wonders of a slow twist

You might give the 95 Berger Classic Hunter a try. I had a 10 twist 6mm that loved them.

I can't help it. I'm a fan of the 6mm. That Cooper is a Western Classic if I remember correctly and the case hardening along with the octagon barrel make it an absolute doll.
I've got an old 700 ADL in 6mm. Got no idea what the twist is, but it shoots well with 95's, and 100's. Haven't had a chance to try anything lighter in it, although I was talking with Bullshooter at the hog hunt this year, and I'll likely mess around with some 85 grain partitions at some point this year.
Congratulations on picking up a gorgeous rifle. If all goes well, you will hunt the wheels off of it, leave a mark here an there and kill a boatload of creatures with it. Then when you are old and gray and don't feel up to walking the hills again, you can pass it on to your son, or a friend who has shared a camp with you for many seasons.
