Hi All...OK..its ready...picked it up from my gunsmith yesterday..Sako Finnlight 260 Rem....Nightforce NXS Compact 2.5x10x42...IHR Reticle Digilum & Zero Stop...'smith said it just barely fit with 1/16th" at each end...Sako Optilock mounts & rings....have Nosler Custom 125 Partition ammo and will load some Nosler 140 Partition...H4350...CCI BR2..Lapua Cases....
We shall see what we shall see.......

I have one in 3006, the action looked long in the picture. You will be happy with it.

I have fin lights in 300wsm, and 7mm08. Great hunting rifles. Triggers are incredible, accuracy is top notch. You will enjoy it.

Very nice rifle and scope but I don't like the combo. If you do, that's all that matters and I'm happy for you to own such fine equipment. I just don't care for the large, heavy, bulky scope on a light weight rifle. I put a kahles 2-7 on my Finnlight and am even happier than with the 3X9 Zeiss I had on it.

Try it for a while as is, and at least try something of the size and weight of a Leupold VX3 2.5-8 on it with the lighter Leupold Sako Ringmounts just to see the difference in the handling.

How did it shoot?? I have the same gun in 300 WSM and would think a heavy NF scope will balance it very good, not the same for the 260 though....

But the rig looks lovely!!
