I worked with his mom who is a fine, utterly likable lady in every sense. A buddy here also worked with her and has played golf with Jordan. He is a huge fan.

Can't help but like the way he moved the ball around that course his past 5 rounds and he's started the 6th with a birdie on 2 but it's still way too early to tell, lets get through this on Sunday

before we size him for the jacket!!!

Saw him Wednesday at the Par 3 interacting some with the fans, watching the way he handles himself on and off the course he sure seems like a class act. I like his chances this week.

It ain't over - until it's over...

IIRC, Rory was tearin' up the course a few years back until Sunday when he couldn't BUY a shot to the green..

But I like Speith also... Good luck to him..

He was a runner-up last year ... leading by two over Bubba Watson (the eventual winner by 3 strokes) through 7 holes on Sunday. He had some first year jitters and couldn't recover. He's definitely been a force this year and may overcome those rookie mistakes he made last year. We'll know on Sunday. wink

The rest of the field are modifying their play, in the SECOND ROUND, to try to keep him in sight. It's all over but the Sunday superlatives boys. I don't think he's coming back to the field.

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

He's playing superbly (right now 13 under through 13 holes) but anything can happen between now and Sunday afternoon.

He is really blitzing it right now. He was eight under yesterday and so far he is five under today with four left. That would be two of the best rounds in a major in a long time.

It's not over & a lot can happen at Augusta, but no matter, this kid is the real deal for sure............he's going to win a LOT of golf tournaments.

Don't much care how he plays, but do care and am glad to hear he sure seems like a human being.

Be nice if we concentrated on that over sports, war, and many other things, but I digress.

Hope he can make it to the win though! For his sake.

Sure appreciate him being a good guy for the rest of the folks though!

I believe he now owns the 36 hole record at the Masters. Hell of a start to the weekend.

Woods is playing fairly well. Last I saw, he's looking to make the cut by a few strokes.

Yawn! I'd rather watch someone get their ear wax removed that waste a perfectly good day watching some poor little rich kid in polyester pants and a shirt with a little alligator on it chase a danged golf ball around.

Well, that's an opinion. I suppose it's balanced by those who would rather pee into a wall outlet than join in with 50,000 other banjo-picking mouth breathers watching cars go round and round.

Of course, he's a Texas boy. Best 'kids' that have worked for me in my 29 year military career where Texas kids.
