It's hard to beat RL-15 w/ 120gr bullets though YMMV.
You might also try H-4895 & Varget...

Much obliged, y'all...
I have RL-15 on hand ( use it in my 9.3 x 62) and also some H4895...
Anybody try any Benchmark in the 7mm-08..?? It works well with light bullets in my .260 XP-100...

Out of both the 7m-08's we have had in the house, one a Browning S.S and the other a Rem LSS Mtn, both liked Reloader 15 the best. But I maybe would also look at Ramshot powders. They do as well in my 308 as Reloader 15 does.

I'm using RE15 with 140 TSX's out of my Ruger Compact 7mm-08,(16.5" barrel) and getting 5 shot groups under 1" Been wanting to try the 120's, but figure "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Virgil B.

Funny no one mentioned 4064 in the 7mm-08. Combine the 140gr Sierra pro Hunter or Game King with 4064 and you will be pleasantly suprised! Regards, Rick.

I tried Varget, R15 and IMR 4350. 46.0 grs of 4350 under 120 Barnes TSX shoots less than an inch for 5 shots at 100 yards shooting a Browning Micro Medallion (20" barrel). This is not a hot load in this rifle, but all I need. Estimated velocity--- 2813 fps Pressure--- 49324 psi
