What are the pros & cons of these 2 reticles? Advantages? Disadvantages? Limitations?

Don't have either, exactly, but I do have a Mark AR Mod 1 illuminated, and the design and function of the illumination is very good. Unlike some, even some Leupolds, the location of the control for the light is small and unobtrusive and the auto shutoff works perfectly. The lighted point is perfecly placed and undetectable when off.

I also have handled a VX-6 1-6 with the Firedot 4 and it's officially my new dream scope. It's handsome and compact and the reticle looks like the perfect choice for heavy cover. I'm trying desperately to find a way to afford one.

Try a Trijicon Green DOT Duplex no battery!

One of my range buddies likes Trijicons and after looking through his, I see why.
They're pretty 'spensive, but then so are the illuminated Loopys. They may come up short on reticle choices and custom options.

I've got 2 of the ballistic firedog.
Run with strelock ballistic and I have shot steel out to 300*.
