Up until recently there was a great product for the Glock pistols which allowed greatly eased removalof the slide.

<br>A company called EIS made an extended slide release lock....it was sold by Brownells under p/n 299-100-000.
<br>They have stopped selinmg them and don't know why.
<br>

<br>Does anyone know what happened to EIS??

I agree with you, Deputy Norm... I find the Glock one of the easiest handguns to field strip. However, I do not have a lot of hand strength. As a result, I had to develop a technigue of holding the firearm, (upside-down, which I cannot even begin to describe in words).

<br>In the meantime, anything to make life easier is OKAY by me.
