Just picked up a SS mod. 7 in .308 and was wondering if I could order the LWT ex-lows for it for use with either a Leu. 2.5-8X36 or 2-7X33. I know the objective should be fine but wasn't sure about the bolt clearing the occular. Anyone using one of these combos or anything slightly larger?
The only other mod. 7 I've had I was using a compact with the small eyepiece.
Thanks, John

I have a Model 7 with the Lows running a VX2 2-7 and at the closest point I have .275 clearance between the bolt handle and the power ring. According to Talley's website there is .100 difference between the Low and Extra Lows. Hopefully that helps.

I had ex lows on a 243 with a VX2 2-7x33 and felt they were perfect.

Thanks guys, I figured they would be fine but just wanted to double check before ordering. By JSHs measurement I should have at least an 1/8th" clearance. I appreciate the help.
John
