Awesome vid.

Here's the poem that inspired the son to make the vid:

// The Important Places //

Child of mine, come as you grow in youth you will learn,
The secret places… …the cave behind the waterfall,
The arms of the oak that hold you high,
The stars so near on a desert ledge…the important places.
And, as with age you choose your own way
Among the many faces of a busy world
May you always remember the path that leads back …to the important places.

Yep. Beyond accurate description...even pictures don't do it justice. It sorta bankrupts the English language.

Awesome video. Thank You for sharing it.

I found myself smiling while watching it, remembering my youth and our family camping trips by a small river here in Northern NM.

Wonderful video ! Thank you for sharing.
May Fathers and Sons everywhere come together one more time to enjoy the beauty of special places like this, and enjoy the beauty of caring friendship and loving one another before the loving old teacher of life passes on, or can no longer share in these adventures due to old age !

Fathers Day is Sunday, plan a visit or trip with your Dad before time takes him away.
