I am looking at a Hogue overmold stock for a 10/22.
How much do they weigh exactly for the Ruger?

This seems high to me.
Technical Information: •Firearm Fit: Ruger 10/22 •Barrel Fit: .920" Barrel •Length of Pull: 13-3/4" •Weight: 2 lbs 10 oz.
Just my 2 cents.

My Hogue OM Overmolded stock for a 10/22 bull barrel model (.920" barrel) weighs 31.8 ounces or just a hair shy of 2 pounds even, this is the bare stock but with studs installed.
A stock for the standard carbine barrel with more material in the forend should weigh a bit more but I couldn't say how much more.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

How much do they weigh? More than they have to. A good rasp is a necessary accessory to a Hogue overmold stock. With a bit of diligent material removal a usable stock may emerge.
