I have a couple of FN guns and absolutely love them. However I have two of the 300wsm tsr modles and would love to have a 260 would this be possible? I should be able to change the bolt face and re barrel it or is the action a different diameter making that impossible? Thanks

Your rifles have a 0.532 inch bolt face.
A 260 Rem requires a 0.474 bolt face.
As in, not possible unless you: 1. Get a new bolt with a smaller bolt face. It would probably be cheaper just to buy another rifle.
2. You could change to a 6.5 (260) WSM, 6.5 RSAUM, etc.

I would be running a 6.5 SAUM on that action. It is a top performing round with some of the slippery 260 cal pills (130 Berger VLD hunting in particular.

Bolt face and feed rails won't work.....new cartridge or trip it for a new action!

Very curious, What is your magazine length?
I have been contemplating a similar build.
