Does anyone have an idea of W780 loads for the 25-303?
I have 2lbs of it. Trouble is, there is no load data for it. I'm using 100 gr Remington bullets and expect to get around 2950 fps with them. This rifle has a skinny 25" SMLE profile barrel on a Lithgow SMLE action and is amazingly accurate. Not one hole groups at 200 yds but fairly close. Close to half MOA.
I selected W780 to try in it for it's performance potential, meaning good velocity at moderate pressure. I believe moderate pressure is a requirement for accuracy in a Lee Enfield. Alos, the W780 might just be good for paper patched bullets in my 303's. That's another story.
