I received this from Hamilton Bowen this week. A full blown Nimrod built on a Ruger/AccuSport Bisley. Just sweet is all I can say, hopefully mother nature will be nice tomorrow and I can test fire it. 41Gunner

LOVE that front sight. Never heard anything bad bout Bowen that I can recall.
IIRC Dirk Pitt in the Clive Cussler books carries a Bowen in some of his adventures.

Very nice, now let me guess the caliber.......41 MAGNUM, my dad loves that caliber, i prefer the 45 my self. I have seen a lot of Bowen work over on the rugerforum. Never seen anything done by Bowen that wasn't nice. Les

Very Nice! Is it a six shooter or a five shooter?

It is a long 6 shot cylinder for heavy hunting bullet use. It has the works, just about everything Bowen offers. Not only is it sweet, it is tight.

Back in 2000 I wanted a .41 Magnum Ruger Bisley and could not even find a used one for sale...but what I really wanted was a 5.5" stainless just like AccuSport finally came out with. I ended up having to order one from Gary Reeder when he was finally able to get someone to make him stainless .41 barrel blanks...but I could have saved myself about $800 if I had waited... 41Gunner..have you shot your's yet??? Beautiful guns for sure. I like 'em with a little bigger hole in the end myself. The grips on the Reeder gun look like they'd be very comfortable to shoot---2MG

RJM.........nice gun you have there.
I have shot the Nimrod twice, mainly plinking and function testing, haven't got a chance to bench it yet. Hopefully this weekend I can steal time and accuracy test it.
