1minute, it's true. The poor bull wandered into town from the forest nearby. It had to be darted 5 or 6 times to mellow it out after it got into the Mt. Goat enclosure or something. They showed it on the news. Unfortunately, it died later in the Elk barn. Apparently was wounded earlier by some poacher or yahoo of some sort. Little known fact is that there is a respectable herd just West of Portland on a large wooded ridge along the Columbia River; probably defectors from the Saddle Mt. herd.
1minute, do you know Raider at the lumber yard (or are you him)? I work at the corporate office for the same company...

While a friend of mine was on a 10 day moose hunt in northern Alberta,an unsuccesful one at that the fish cops darted 2 young bulls right in his front yard in Calgary. It was in the papers and on TV.It took him along time to live that one down.
Every year we get bears deer elk moose and the odd cougar roaming the streets and going through some storefront window.Unfortunatly they usually end up dead from being stressed out and can't handle the tranqulizer.
