Has anyone stayed at Alaska's Deshka River Lodge? I am planning on heading to Alaska next June and wanted to spend a few days fishing. A little searching found this outfit, and I am looking for some feedback on them. I would greatly appreciate any information. Thanks in advance.

What are you expecting? Within 2hrs from Anchorage lots
of company. Plan on trolling for Kings, Dodging landing
float planes. Or anchoring at mouth of Deshka river with 50
plus other boats. You can go upriver form the lodge but early June most of the fish are near mouth. You won,t be alone!

I floated Moose creek from about 80 miles north down into the Deshka back in 1987. Wild trip!
Once Moose and ??? come together to form the Deshka, kk had it nailed. Even nearly 20 years ago, the place was a zoo.

Have known Andy for quite a long time and he is an all-around good guy and will really put out for you. Spot and I hunted with him a few years back out of Beluga.
