NAT, Bugger: Have had the Marlin .444 w/Ballard rifling since '00 and have run just about all there is through it from 180 XTPs@ 2650+/- to 320 CPs @ 2275+/-, and all were fairly accurate, [well, enough for me, as I was loading for minute-of coyote/varmints to deer/hogs] not trying for bench rest trophies. Some went 1-1.5 MOA some not so tight...But still [minute-of-whatever-I-was- hunting-at-the-time].
The aim now is for some nostalgic loads for the H&R .444 barrel... somewhere around 1400-1600 FPS with he 460-490gr pills. Just for fun.
