Have a .300, but only killed one elk and one mulie with it... As elk said, a .340 would round things out.. Don't use mine much now, but it is a comfort to know it is in the safe, ready to roll.. Some fine trophies there guys.. Good times.. Best of luck on future hunts.. That fall season will be on us before we know it.. Molon Labe
