If the pain is constant, I had the same thing a few years ago, constant pain, felt like my guts tied up, puking, dry puking, felt like I needed to chit but couldn't... went to er and they said kidney stone, I thought no it's in my guts not my back... but they were right, kidney stone.
Well Hell, I’m going too, in urgent care place. I cut cshit out of my left thumb. I didn’t want you going by yourself. I’m gonna get three or four stitches. Yee haw.
Sorry for humor, that's what my Dad always told us......go get fixed.....don't flirt with nurses in front of your wife....I did and am still paying for it. Get well soon
He won't let that stop him if he truly wants her...Remember, he's a man, a dude of distinction, he fears nothing, and nobody, he is Don Quixote of La Mancha !!!! Chivalry is not dead and neither is his manhood !!!! I mean don't you remember the song....

Do you have any allergies? Could be an allergic reaction to lactose? Meebe a kidney stone or food poisoning? Did you eat something old you found in the 'fridge?
Well dang if that don't sound like some kind of fun hookeye.
I might bypass that virtual if I were you and head straight to the ER, but I see by the clock you're probably doing the facetime/zoom thing with the doc right now.
I’d offer to donate an appendix but they took mine out years ago, when I was a teenager. This was back when they didn’t mess around when they cut you open, none of that through the navel stuff.
I’d do it all again, the sponge baths from that nurse were epic 🙂
Prayers offered for a clear diagnosis and speedy full recovery.... since a lot of us here are getting long enough in the tooth now to have our own "had to go to the hospital... was in a lot of pain but it turned out OK stories" I figured I'd share mine.
I needed to get a dye injected along my spine for a contrast image.... I hate needles in general and didn't want to flop around during the injection.... I had checked the "Hell yes, I want a Valium before the procedure" box. The nurse that came into the room was maybe 25 and the kind of jaw dropping pretty that words really can't do justice to.... plus she was really sweet and very sorry I was having a long weight.... by the time she offered me the Valium I was feeling pretty self conscious and asked her "So how many people ask for a Valium before this "procedure".... She squeezes my arm and say, "Oh honey.... ALL the men do....".
Not fun, but it’s often much more easily managed than what’s been mentioned so far.
Sending prayers your way.

I just spent three days in the hospital with Terminal illetus,, it is an infection on the end of your small intenstine a blockage . Terminal dosent mean you are going to die,, terminal means the end of the intestine where it connects to your colan... but you will feel like you are going to die until they give you a shot of morphine,,,. then its hallelujah... I see the light....good luck with yours I am fine now..
God only knows, but last year I had the same symptoms. I thought that I was going to literally die. I prayed with a friend. Then there was instant relief. Then It occured to me that it was possible that my intestines had blockage and quit moving due to dehydration. I think that this was Divinely given insight. I drank water. Over a quart and waited, then another. Never had a bit of discomfort after that and everything was back to normal.
I called my doctor the next day. She told me that what I did was exactly what she would have recommended, including the prayer. She said that 3 B.M.s per DAY is optimal.
I got my pony tail cut off ( ready for bow season ) and somehow had a part flip at work and land on my arm.....had to wait a bit for break to run to store for gel. Texted ol lady for silver cream Got that on 3 hrs later.
I had a gallbladder attack before, problems off and on and then the worst episode.....when i shot my avatar deer.
Horrrible day.
This was reminiscint of it last night.
Pain i can take. Sick.....nope.
I just sent a friend a free gall bladder flush protocol from one of my doctors last week. If you want a copy, PM me and I will send it now. Lunch break will be over soon and I won't be getting back until dark most likely, so if interested, I have time now to look.
Wishing you a good outcome. I ate a reuben sandwich yeseterday with some homemade tater chips. The kraut and greasy chips were more than I could stand. Explosive trip to the little room, fart fan could not keep up.
I've had long hair since like 1980 or so. Does your ponytail affect your draw? get caught in the wheels and cables on your compound? I shoot a traditional bow and have never had my hair get in the way..................my beard when it gets really long, but not my hair.

I save such tasty ass for crop dusting mouth breathers

I shoot Blackwidow recurve and think " out front" so distractions back on my head i cant handle. Long hair is a PITA and i was ready.

Longest was below my chest.
But that maybe 4 yrs ago.
Good luck with the surgery.
I find it interesting about your hair thing. I always have a ball cap, fedora, or beanie hat on depending on conditions too. And my hair has touched my belt before. I always keep in hair ties when I'm not at home, and I guess sometimes when hunting it was tucked under my outer shirt.
Oh well, one must do what one must do.
Hope the nurses are cute................................and female
A few years ago I had much those same symptoms for 3 days straight. Finally drove myself to hospital. It was a ruptured appendix. Had me in intensive car for 8 days.
A couple of gas station burritos should fix you right up, hit them about 10:00 tonight when they a guaranteed to be at least 8 hours old. Bonus points for cheap hot sauce packets.
Did the appendix thing in December 2017. Good thing it hit before I got on the plane, doc said I likely would not have made it. WTF.
Anyways, small incisions, you'll wake up with a drainage bag sewn into your gut. Pain will be gone. You'll be high as a kite for about 2 days. Get up and walk as soon as possible. Your intestines shut down due to the procedure and walking together with gravity will get them working again. Your first run to the chitter don't be embarrassed if you don't make it to the toilet seat before things start working.
I had complications. Apparently my gut grows a rare strain of e. coli so I got an e.coli infection that had the power of MRSA. I was in for 6 days. The antibiotics from the e. coli infection led to a c. diff infection so I had to get a PICC line installed and go to the hospital once a day for outpatient IV therapy for the c. diff drugs. That said, none of it was really painful and I was off the opioids 24-36 hours after the procedure.
Do expect to be very tired. I remember going to the hospital for the first day of outpatient IV therapy and not making it to the IV therapy room before needing a break from walking. I was 34 at the time. The first time you eat solid food will probably put you on the docket for a nap.

I have a relative that recommends Buffalo Chicken Rollers when one needs a gut bomb:
Good luck, Hook. You made the right call to go in.
Just got back from the ER myself. Did a 12344mag ladder dance. Was on a POS aluminum ladder trying to get my duck boat blind down outta the rafters. It was jammed a bit and I was leaning out a ways using some force. Told myself I was never gonna be one of those guys - Darwin candidate. Last thing I remember is seeing my shoelaces with the rafters in the background. My kid said he thought I was dead. Landed on my noggin and elbow. POS ladder folded like a cheap suit. Slight concussion, deep elbow bruise, but not broken. Body feels like I've been hit by a truck. Taking the rest of the day off.
Man, you are not helping me out. I've got to get up on the woodshed roof and put some sealer on some of the screws and nails the "builder" left shining and leaking into the shed. And I was thinking about using the cheap aluminum ladder instead of going all the way to the shop and dragging out the good heavy one.
Maybe I'll just stack up some pallets and boards instead.

Yeah, I passed on the good ladder because I didn't feel like hauling it out either. The POS aluminum was close at hand. Bad choice. Won't be a choice anymore because it's bent like a taco. If you want my professional opinion, pallets stacked with an upside down 5 gal bucket for that extra reach is your best bet to win the award.

Mmmn? I wonder how much I can get at the scrap yard for that cheap Al ladder the previous owners left here. I just leave it leaning up against the well house for if I need a ladder quick out back. Might be worth it to avoid an accident.
The Werner weighs 40 or so pounds, is unwieldy, and is usually 100' from where I need it of course.

Dayom. Glad you survived that. PTL.
Thanks. I was 73 years old, at the time.
A very old friend and I had driven up to Mammoth Lakes area to go canoeing and fishing. We were camping in a tent. After 3 days of not being able to crap or sleep, I finally drove myself to the local hospital. I presented my VA Medical card and, when they discovered my appendix had been ruptured, they told me that they'd called the VA and were told the VA would not cover the operation. I insisted that they call the VA back and speak to someone else, and that, if they couldn't get approval, they should just let me die right there, rather than ruin my life with hospital bills (I was very serious). While the administrator went to call back the VA, the surgeon assured me they would not let me die. The administrator came back with the approval and they rushed me right into surgery. I was quite literally full of [bleep].
They don't play around with appendix, had mine out about 3 years ago. Went to ER at night, doctor took it out at 7:30 next morning,, they let me go at noon.
The ol lady bitched at me and said turn the TV off and go back to bed. [bleep] Teresa. With a few less wrinkles.
Am so blessed LOL. Told her (works 3rds) to just sleep and one of the kids could have come and picked me up.
Middle was on vacation (wedding out of town coming up) and shorty has her DL now. Hospital is 3.5 miles down the road.
Got my kids new fave anesthesiologist. Funny Chinese guy. Hes a hoot, and is top notch.
Being ER I didn't know what to expect..........ended up w the anesthesiologist and doctor I was hoping for.
And I was only one in ER, so got back fast (not fast enough as I felt like crap).........
and surgery moved up.
Pretty smooth gig really. If recovery goes as swimmingly this can get chalked up ad a goody. Doesn't offset the 3 yrs of hell another outpatient surgery caused way back.
But that one sucked so bad, makes this a cake walk.
Just watch the risk for hernia after that abdominal wall punch.
BIL builds ac units for American Std, appendix out, routine, no comps.
Work made him stay 4 weeks off, went back within a couple nights, he felt something pull loose. Get an incisional hernia. Had to get fix, made him burn 6 weeks of fmla.
Skinny dude too, aint like he had fat pushing against that scar.
I had the same kind of symptoms back in May....went to the ER and it was pancreatitis.....spent about 20 days in the ICU..... bout killed me....still haven’t recovered all the way, doc says it may be 6 months before things get back to normal. Glad you got it sorted out 👍
