See this crap more and more with ghetto schit trash no surprise there but blows my mind how main stream it's becoming. Never heard of this one till he showed up on YouTube. I don't get it and just don't want to. Call me ignorant or even close minded, I don't care. Makes me want to raise my kid in a cave in the middle of nowhere.
Well, I can certainly see where it could limit your career choices.

I don’t think Post Malone is worried about that either.
Why, yes; of course......... I should run out and get facial tattoos so I can feel more confident about myself. Also wondering if he's been drug tested lately.
DUMB A$$
A friend and I were sitting at a bar when 4 young ladies came in and sat next to us. Every one of them was all tattooed and every one of them had so many facial piercings that each looked as though they had fallen face first into a tackle box. They were nice enough. Eventually our friendly conversation turned to said piercings and jewelry. At one point one of the young ladies told me that she does it as a display of non-conformity. I asked what her friends thought of it. She said, "oh, all of my friends have similar piercings and tats". I said, "well, if all of your friends are doing it then that's certainly a great display of independent thought and non-conformity".
There was a girl in high school that had a pierced eyebrow.

I liked that at the time.

I dont care for the nose piercings or the face tattoos.

Just leave your face and neck alone.
It looks stupid!

Well played and spot on assessment.
MGK: “Y'all know, y'all know I'm tatted like I don't need jobs, ho”

In a recent interview, Post Malone said he had a face for radio so who cares. Really, it’s his face, who cares? Plus he supports Viktos.
As for the girls with tattoos and piercings comments.... sign me up. They’re usually more fun and if they have ones you can see... they probably have ones you can’t. Yes please.
Post Malone

That guy admitted a few months ago he only bathes like once a month 🤮

He’s kind of whiny too, him and Khalid both.

He don’t want to fugg up his dreds by washing dat sheeit
Errr when he had dreds

Maybe he’s washing now. Now he has some money
I suppose that’s probably a solid point.
The only honest face tat I've seen was a guy who had "LOSER" across his forehead.
John Candy (spelling?) used to have a character called the guy with a snake on his face. This story reminds me of the skits he did with that character.

Dreds on a white dude is just weird AF.
Face/neck tats just scream unemployable.

I can tell when there is danger by reading someone's face, but actually having to read it is abit weird.
Face tats are handy. You can tell from across the street that they're an idiot and don't have to get any closer.
Post is just more proof that rich people get away with [bleep] that would make a poor person homeless.

Your right, lol, I worked with a guy that had a tattoo of casper the friendly ghost on his face, I think he did it himself and like in grade one, had trouble coloring and staying inside the lines.
I got to meet Erik Sprague after a concert a couple years back, most tattoo'd person I've ever seen. He was extremely well spoken, super nice...sure wouldn't expect it from someone who looked like that.

That EIC tax return ...............
Two guys go into a bar looking for a little company for the night. They walk in and scope out the scene. One guy spots a girl at the bar all tattooed up; full sleeves, on her neckline and a visible tramp stamp. He makes a bee-line to her and starts chatting her up. A little while later the two guys run into each in the rest room. The other guy says to his friend, "I didn't know you were so into tattoos." His friend replies, "I'm not, I think they are hideous". "I'm confused" the other replies; "why did you target her first with all the other options in the bar?" His friend smiles and says "Cause I know that she's a woman that's not afraid to make an impulsive decision she may later regret."
A buddy was expecting his 20 y/o son to come up from the city and visit we were going to take him fishing.
Where's Adam I asked the day he was supposed to arrive..
Lil fugger. He's not coming. He says he's pretty sore from a full chest tattoo the other day, plus it was $900 so now he's broke and can't afford gas.
Oh. lol

I don't mind some ink, don't have any myself, but the 24/7 billboard of your face or neck is going to get old at some point. Not a matter of if but when. A $900 chest tat is pretty fuggin stupid for a young person unless they're rich. But not as stupid as marking up your face IMO. Piercings aren't as permanent, knock yourself out..
Actually, I’m not impressed with tattoos of any kind anywhere on the body. They have no redeeming features.
I've mellowed over the years but I still think facial tattoos, bullrings on noses and the implanted cheek jewels are hideous. The sad thing is there are so many no-talent a-holes out there who call themselves "tattoo artists" and they aren't...
PS-Every time I see a guy with big "gauges" I feel like sticking my finger through one and yanking really hard...
Druggie basturds. I think they look like chit.

Tattooers is more accurate.
In 70+ years on this old earth I've collected some pretty impressive scars, all by accident. It never occurred to me to indulge in any sort of deliberate self-mutilation, anywhere on my body!

We all wear uniforms of one type or another. I have to wear a tie at work, that’s my uniform. The piercing crowd has their uniform, too, as do the tat folk.

I can take my tie off when I get home, though.

Agreed!

Worked around some that had many tattoos for a short while once. Most were young folks with a few approaching middle-age. Most had criminal records and some had served prison time for felony convictions.

Was interesting to watch them on payday. Their regular payday routine week after week was they'd buy jumbo pizzas, weed, booze and drugs and flop at one or anothers 'pad' over the weekend, then show back up at work Monday with a new tattoo or two of something or other, broke and mooching cigarettes and soft drink money until next payday when they would repeat all over again.

Their tattoo artist was recently released on parole from prison. He used a homemade tattoo gun he learned how to make in prison, supposedly sterilized between customers via a dip in regular rubbing alcohol, only did blue or black ink, but he was cheap.

I overheard one of his regular customers, a early middle age, (outlaw biker chick type woman, also a felon), once say like it was a nonissue and no big deal that she always tested positive for hepatitis. She also said that she sometimes worked as an aide with direct physical contact with patients in nursing homes.

People profile like crazy. My wife and I both are successful business owners and I used to show up to give estimates in July wearing long sleeves. Then I decided if they were going to judge me and my work off of my tattoos I didn’t want them as a customer anyway. Fun fact, I’ve never lost a customer and I have more business than I know what to do with and haven’t worn long sleeves to give a bid in five years.

Side note: Sleeves were part of my motivation for becoming self-employed. Nobody is going to tell me what I can and can’t write on my body or where.

Side side note: Throat tattoos can be awesome, I still can’t make it to the face. That being said, I really don’t give a [bleep] what other people do with their bodies.
I used to have to show 2 IDs when I had ric flair hair at the bank I had banked at for 10 years, small town bank in there couple times a week.

Always give me a bunch of bullchit.

They didn’t like cashing 2,4,5 k checks for some long-hair 20s something bronze skin workin man that come in with a cloud of smoke rollin off my shoulders 😃

I started cashing my checks at the homeowners’ banks

Then them fuggers at them banks started finger printing me

Once one makes that decision on how they want their self image to be, there's no need to worry about what others think.

I haven't seen my chin since 1979 or so, and my hair hasn't had a real haircut since then either.

And outside of a couple of years at the University when in my 40's, I've been employed 95% of the time.

He’s also a huge supporter of 2A... and if you take the time to look at his tat’s before judging him you would see them on his arms showing as such.

I know exactly what you're saying. Try putting a good dry wall or roofing crew together without any tattooed partakers of the herb. There's tons of hard working people out there with a lot of ink. Its just not a big deal.
I've never seen a tatt on a Woman that made her look any better. It's nice to see young kids that don't act like Sheep...I always make it a point to commend them for that.

I was talking about the type of tattoos and placement. Ghetto script on the face is nothing like good tattoos that can be covered. I have a couple myself. They are connected and cover about 60 percent of my body. Mostly depictions of 50s and 60s scifi and childhood nostalgia. They are very well done and can be covered. I do pretty well working for myself and traded most of the work for oil paintings. "Most Hated" on someone's forehead is right up there with MS 13 or Aryan brotherhood prison crap IMO.

I don't care what folks do to their own bodies, but I won't employ anyone with tats that can be covered while they're at work.

EDIT: I should have said that I won't employ anyone with tats that can't be covered while they're at work if it is a job that requires on-going direct customer contact, like the clerks in my convenience stores did, but don't care one way or the other when they don't have on-going direct customer contact, like the drivers at my family's concrete business. It isn't personal, it is just a matter of putting an employee in place whose skills, personality, and appearance will contribute to the success of the business.

Yep, just like the whole shaved head cop thing started with Bruce Willis. The old "I'm going bald but I don't want people to know I'm going bald so I'm going to shave my head bald" look.
Who cares how much money he has? There are plenty of rap "singers" who are rich, too. I don't want to emulate them, either. I have enough and I'm happy where I'm at.

Do you think 2 homes with a total estimated cost of $6mil combined is excessive for someone who charges $500k a day? How about someone who makes $20-30mil off of each record? Plus all of his endorsements..

Whats your home cost verse income ratio? Do you make 10x’s your house value per year?

Sounds like your spending habits are a bit biggly there buddy.

Tats, that's the business of the wearer, many times Tats mean something very personal to the individual, who am I to trample on that.

What do your tats mean to you? do they stand for anything specific or do you just have tats?

BTW your wife is a very beautiful lady, I don't think the tats add or subtract from her looks she is just naturally pretty.

I can see a forearm tat, like maybe Nie Wieder in German Gothic. But systematic self-mutilation leads me to question that person's lack of good judgement in the real world. Period.

He'll likely live to regret the face tattoos. Having plenty of money insulates him from discrimination to a large degree.

They’re gauges not earrings, thanks. And clown really? Post a pic of your old lady, one up me, please. We’ll have the boys judge. Who’s in??
I've got one tat that I got about 22 years ago. It's on my arm. It's been there so long that I'm used to it. But if it disappeared I wouldn't get it replaced.

As for the discussion on dreadlocks, I buzz my head. I don't want hair at all,...much less dreadlocks.

Who wants to look like Whoopy Goldberg? She looks like the jiggaboo Medusa.
Guy my uncle used to let hunt our place, was in the army for 2 or 3 year, got ptsd for being yelled at too much or some chit.

Has about 30-40 little 1/4” stars from the corner of his eyes down to his earlobes on both sides. Like cupcake sprinkles for sideburns.

Also has AMERICAN VETERAN in some barely readable gothic calligraphy font above each eyebrow. Shaved his eyebrows to a pencil lead thin sliver those forehead letters stand out.

Has some other cryptic message on the sides of his neck in some type of hieroglyphics.

He looks real cute, like Prince Valiant

I was talking about the type of tattoos and placement. Ghetto script on the face is nothing like good tattoos that can be covered. I have a couple myself. They are connected and cover about 60 percent of my body. Mostly depictions of 50s and 60s scifi and childhood nostalgia. They are very well done and can be covered. I do pretty well working for myself and traded most of the work for oil paintings. "Most Hated" on someone's forehead is right up there with MS 13 or Aryan brotherhood prison crap IMO.

Nothing like a good set of Lightning Bolts on your temples and big ol' Swastika on your forehead to make the grannies your baggin groceries for feel good, eh?

I'll give you that it may be a dated story although different celebrity "Net Worth" websites still show his net worth at everywhere from 14 to 20 + million but you're wrong on it being a satire website. Also, his $500k per concert is gross, ...not net. Lots of people and expenses have to be paid off the top of celebrity earnings.

Here's another website that has his net worth around the same ballpark figure:

https://parade.com/946704/parade/post-malone-net-worth/

Quote

He’s a Big Spender

Post Malone makes big money—and he spends it, too. He confessed to Rolling Stone that before he was famous, he worked in a chicken joint and blew $800 of his hard-earned money on Versace slippers. Since becoming famous, well, his habits haven’t changed much: He showed the magazine his Rolls Royce Wraith and a pair of $1,700 slippers. After his Wraith was T-boned by a Kia, he upgraded to a $420,000 Phantom. He also owns a Lamborghini and a souped up Ford Explorer for which he originally paid $1,700.

In October 2019, Post Malone made it rain with $50,000 worth of singles at a nightclub appearance; in April 2017, TMZ reported that he spent $8,000 just on Popeye’s biscuits, and in October 2018, it was revealed Post Malone dropped a whopping $40,000 on Postmates in just a year, usually getting eats delivered to him while he’s on tour. He also owns a sprawling $3 million mansion outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Posty is also a betting man: He paid rapper YG a whopping $20,000 after losing a bet on a Dallas Cowboys game against the St. Louis Rams in the NFL playoffs.

And another: https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/richest-rappers/post-malone-net-worth/

And one more, outdated too, but has a couple of interesting things about his personal politics:

https://moneyinc.com/post-malone-net-worth/

Quote

15. He is a big JFK fan

Post Malone is a big fan of the late US president John F. Kennedy. He even has a tattoo of him on his arm. He believes that president Kennedy was the only leader to stand up against government corruption. He holds the Kennedy administration in high regard. Post Malone joins a lot of Americans in this belief and his political views are not made secret. He’s very open about his feelings and he’s not afraid to speak up for his beliefs.

16. He’s not fan of president Trump

Post Malone has been vocal about his beliefs that neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton would have been his first choice for the office of the president of the United States. During the last election campaigning period, he was supportive of Bernie Sanders as a candidate of choice. Although he feels this way, when asked if he would perform for the Donald Trump inauguration, he said that it was something that he would not be opposed to.

He’s OK but it ain’t like he’s gonna break out a whole new genre of music.

Biggest problem I have with his face tats are all the teenagers that are gonna get ‘em because he has them. These kids, even without tattoos s, ain’t gonna be one-in-a-million rockstars and a lot of ‘em already got enough problems to deal with.

We already got enough people regretting their teenage tattoos and these ain’t even on their faces.

Vivible tatoos and body piercings preclude you getting a job in a customer-facing position, which often are th highest paying ones. Makes as much sense as hitting your hand with a hammer--except with that you can stop.

Would look better if the clown didn't wear ear rings and the babe shed the nose ring. At least you edited out the arm tattoo.

They’re gauges not earrings, thanks. And clown really? Post a pic of your old lady, one up me, please. We’ll have the boys judge. Who’s in??

With this crowd it's better to remain anonymous. Anyway, when my wife was that age she didn't have tatoos or nose rings, and didn't appear in pictures with high school dropout-looking guys with LGB- looking ear rings or "gages" or

I have no idea of what a tattoo costs, but I think the price you pay is far too great!

Do you think 2 homes with a total estimated cost of $6mil combined is excessive for someone who charges $500k a day? How about someone who makes $20-30mil off of each record? Plus all of his endorsements..

Whats your home cost verse income ratio? Do you make 10x’s your house value per year?

Breaking Down Post Malone’s Net Worth Last updated on March 2, 2020

Except that was two years ago even though it says it was updated, it says hes 22 multiple times, and hes older.... hes had two major records be released since then... and thats a satire website.

Try again...

Who, or maybe what, is Post Malone? If that's him, or it, in the first post, never mind. I have no need to know.

I was in business for 35 of the 42 years of my career. No one who looked like that, or had "sleeves" or a bunch of facial piercings ever got hired. Mine was a service business and we did a lot of work for older people. Had I sent someone who looked like that to a job they never would have gotten in most doors. So many are sooo concerned about being offended. WellI I find that not offensive but repulsive.

Thank your nephew for his service. $1000 is a little light, for a sleeve I’d raise your number to $3000 min

Luckily it’s not like that anymore. I get more compliments from my clients over 60 to be honest plus it’s a great conversation starter.

As for Post Malone, if he’s not in your wheelhouse, you’ll live.
CE-whatever's wife is attractive but that's in spite of the tattoos, not because of them.

That sir, depends on where you are. It's still that way where I live and frankly, I'm grateful.

I am amused that there are those who equate what a person does as being ok with his or her income and/or wealth. I don't care if he has more money than little mikey bloomersburg, it is repulsive.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Years ago i read an article my motocross buddy Tony loaned me a magazine with the article .
Guy who wrote it said all the claims of rappers having millions and millions of dollars was mostly BS .

Writers good friend was involved in forensic audits for the irs . They put in some time investigating where the multi-millions of dollars would come from and couldn't begin to get things to add up .
Article posed the questions - who do you know that bought $$ their ''records'' since Napster and many other avenues of highjacking music ?

Where do they have huge concert venues filling big coliseums and selling posters/t-shirts etc. etc. ?

This article was before the days of youtube paying people .

Other questions of where the huge $$ could come from - i don't remember each question but i couldn't think of anybody who bought their ''records'' or anything else .
Plus we all know how the entertainment industry is pure fantasy - packed with lies .

TV appearances don't pay much according to the article .

Read about a Car Guy in atlanta who rounds up high end sports to lease at a day rate for video shoots - he spoke of the mansions and the people who lease them out for video shoots . They brainwash people into beieving that this is where the rapper lives and these are some of his cars etc. and this is how he lives his life .

I don't know nor do i care one way or the other but the article gave anyone with common sense a few things to try and add up .

When i thought of a comparison say: led zeppelin/van halen/aerosmith/journey/heart - who did i know who had bought their records and paid for a ticket at some large concert coliseum and had a t-shirt to prove it ? Lots of people , and those bands toured the world 3-4-5 nights per week for months on end for many years .

Over .
Many years ago When I worked in customer service I met a man named Kevin, he had stud just above his nasal bone right where the eye brows meet the nose, this thing was huge! I mean 1/4" or so.

Anyways I hate to admit it but I judged him by that one thing at first. As I got to know him he turned out to be one of the Nicest guys I've ever known. It was a good lesson for me.

I do try not to be judgemental about such things but sometimes it is really hard not to be, ya just have to try.
I was discussing this with some friends the other evening. The conclusion was (even the tattooed lady agreed) that without tattoos, you can fit in anywhere from a hippy festival to a boardroom. You can look like whatever you want and be whatever you want, but permanently modifying your looks permanently modifies where you can fit in. Being a "justice warrior" is stupid and shows a level of immaturity and selfishness. Why should people have to overcome a negative first impression?

When tattooed lady interviews for an executive level position in a company that is responsible for medical care in the 100s of millions of $$, she damn well makes sure she looks the part and that doesn't include visible tats. And she still looks dynamite at a concert too. smile

Best tattoo I ever saw on a woman was a discrete little rose at the shoulder on her arm, an exact copy of Janice Joplin’s tatoo.

Women with whole patches of tattoos I feel bad for. They get em to look hotter/rebellious/independent/whatever at the peak of their physical beauty.

Life is harder on women, at thirty they already gotta struggle to keep what they once took for granted and at that point they have another fifty years of life left.

Near as I can figure, those extensive tattoos on women merely serve to exaggerate the aging process.
I was talking $1,000 per tattoo, not sleeve. But if you think all them misled teenage dweebs across Amricaare paying anything close to that, you’re sadly mistaken.

Okay, so according to you everything stated about "Post Malone" regarding his background, approximate net worth, extravagant spending, gun ownership, political leanings, etc., etc., in all of the articles I posted links to is in jest, irony, exaggerated and meant to ridicule, expose and criticize his stupidity and/or vices even though they spoke extremely favorably of him and in awe of his talent and rapid rise to success?

Watch the videos!

I did,... plus one more.

Sounds to me like he's just another version of a hip-hop celebrity of the moment, with lifestyle excesses and big spending habits typical of those who get too much too soon.

Breaking Down Post Malone’s Net Worth Last updated on March 2, 2020

Except that was two years ago even though it says it was updated, it says hes 22 multiple times, and hes older.... hes had two major records be released since then... and thats a satire website.

Try again...

In reality of course being an aging hair dresser is a bit like being an aging stripper.

I did sleep with a hair dresser once, dunno if that amounts to “been with”.
Age is a lot kinder to men. I mean they can look like the wrong end of a mule and still make out OK, tattoos whatever. I mean, look at Rene, he did OK 🙂

In Ghana where I was all Ashantis have a small scar on their cheekbone, it is done at birth to make the child less than perfect so that Death will be less tempted to steal that infant.

If death had previously taken two of that woman’s children, if a male the child is given the name “Preteh” (Vulture, named after something ugly) and a whole ladder-like series of cuts is made across the face, resulting in extensive ritual scarring.

These scars bear no stigma as that young man goes through life.

And yes, IME when Africans are able to get here they work their a$$es off to succeed, and hold Ghetto Black in contempt.

I wondered how tatted up Malone could be and found this - https://bodyartguru.com/post-malone-tattoos/

Are tattoos "Caucasian cultural appropriation of indigenous people's customs"?

If so, Caucasians started appropriating over 5300 years ago:

Quote
Italian researchers working on Ötzi recently announced that they have finished mapping out the mummy’s body art, finding 61 tattoos in total.

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/61-tattoos-otzi-5300-year-old-iceman-180954035/

Maybe my long hair and beard are a cultural appropriation from our forefathers then?

How would a low life know what a suit looks like, cheap or otherwise? And how would a decent American know if a cheap ear ring plug was spelled "gage" or "gauge?"

+1
Everyone knows how "gauge" is spelled when it's referring to a shotgun. How it's spelled when referring to putting holes in your ears so your brains can leak out isn't common knowledge or worth the time to look up in a ghetto slang dictionary.

Interesting way to look at it. Especially because your earlobes are most definitely connected to your brain.
The question is, why has the subject of tattoos triggered such a response from you? Is it a self-esteem issue or psychological issue that you feel you have to defend? Interesting....

If you read the whole thread you’ll see most of the people I’ve responded to are triggered, not me. I’m simply having a good time responding to cranky old guys. I wouldn’t really call if defending tattoos, more like attempting to open a few eyes. I’m abundantly aware of the fact that I’m going to get harassed more because I’m young and most guys are going to assume I’m broke white trash because I have tattoos. If it works cool, if not I’m pretty sure I’ll sleep fine tonight.

Funny thing is I share interests with the majority of guys on here and they’d probably enjoy my company given the opportunity. I hunt, fish, raise my kids, run my business, drive trucks and vote red. I just happen to have holes in my ears and a plethora of tattoos.
I DID read the whole thread and noticed you posted about 44 times. If you are comfortable in your skin, what does it matter what anybody else thinks about tats?

Usually, though, people get tats to send a message or to overcompensate for a deficiency within their skin....if you’re comfortable with your tats, no biggie. Live and let live. No prob!

I guess you’re right, it really doesn’t matter what people think, I’d just like people to see that not everyone with tattoos is white trash and some are actually pretty successful. I legitimately started getting them because I really like they way they look, no compensation at all. It also didn’t hurt that one of my rental properties had a tattoo shop in it that I eventually took over and ran for awhile until my other business was significantly more lucrative so I shut it down. However I got a ton of free high quality ink during that time.

Yes sir, live and let live.

I have little opinion on tats. They're all over the place these days. Generally speaking, I don't draw any conclusions about a person based on their tats.

But turning your face into a billboard seems odd to me.
There was a dude a while back who was selling billboard space on his face. Give him the cash and he’d get a tat of your business logo on his face so you’d have a walking advertisement everywhere he went. Bud of mine paid and had him get the logo of his gun shop on his cheek, right next to the Pornhub logo. smile

Kudos for your honesty, but don't pretend you're not on here for attention. Anybody that needs to post pics and brag about how attractive their old lady is has issues. Whether it's online or in person.

Just like the earrings and visible tats, it's about attention.
Yeah, but its nice to get a little attention once in a while...

Used to have a student, a pretty half Asian half Mexican girl, had a “PornStar” decal on her back car window back when they were trendy, so I always called her “CornStarch” in class 🙂

Became a stripper the day she turned eighteen, had a flock of butterflies tattooed up her back and onto her neck, pulled down about $100,000 a year.

A couple of years later I seen her working in a camera store in the local mall, she told me she quit stripping because she was starting to hate people, found herself cursing all the time. However much she was making it wasn’t worth the money.

Anyways she was getting her tats removed, or trying to, starting with the neck.

Funniest tattoo I ever saw was on a Texas Mexican woman, a red hot chili pepper at the top of her left breast, with “Fernando” written in elegant cursive below it.

She said her and her sister had been partying in Acapulco and gotten really drunk. When she woke up there it was. She said her sister woke up with a tattoo of a Mexican sombrero above her left breast, signed by that same guy.

They had no idea who Fernando was, they thought that might be the name of the tattoo artist.

Not only odd but highly suspect of anyone as being prone to making rash, questionable spur-of-the-moment impulsive decisions and acts, regardless how successful and wealthy they are or aren't.

Got to wonder too if Mr. Post Malone would still have gotten all the facial and body tattoos, piercings, etc., had he not been successful and acquired so much wealth, especially so early in life.

Should be interesting to see where he is career wise and if he's still making and spending millions hand over fist as he is now a few more years done the road.

I really don’t have an opinion about people who have lots of tattoos. If that’s what floats your boat, go ahead. Their is a lot more destructive things you could be doing to yourself.
Had a coworker a few years ago that met a woman at a bar and took her home. Said she had a pair of boxing gloves tattooed down there along with the words "Beat it up like a champ". Hilarious

And a son who you're giving drugs to so he won't hit puberty.

Kudos for your honesty, but don't pretend you're not on here for attention. Anybody that needs to post pics and brag about how attractive their old lady is has issues. Whether it's online or in person.

Just like the earrings and visible tats, it's about attention.

Believe me, I’m not here for attention. Do you really think I desire validation from a bunch of pissed off close minded old men?

I never bragged. The fact that you guys think I did means I’m doing it right.

Now for the second time you’ve brought my kid up like it’s going to bother me and make others form an opinion... do you feel better?

A Chevy with the 8.1 liter and Allison with a bale bed and singles would be orgasmic. I’d be almost as jealous of you as I am of Jim.

You got that right. Long story short gotta put down my filly we had last March, that was really the culmination of a long held dream for my wife and I. Was born in a snowstorm, I carried her to shelter and milked the colostrum from mama and fed her that first night/day. She ran into a tree during a windstorm and messed up her spine. Not in pain but no balance. Of all the fuggin things, seriously? All my years on the prairie wishing for trees ….

Got my first tattoo a few weeks ago, my oldest daughter has begged me for years for a daddy daughter tattoo. She is going through some tough times and already had several so I said what the fk', if it helps her keep pressing on I will do it, and I will again when she asks.

As for Post Malone,...I had never heard of him before he was mentioned in this thread. So I went to youtube to listen to his songs.

They're not totally painful to listen to. But they *are* totally bland.

I don't understand what's happened to young people's ear for music. I can appreciate many types of music,..even going back to the 30's and 40's. But there's just nothing to a lot of the stuff that passes for music these days. I doubt that anyone will be listening to it in 10 or 20 years like people listen to American music that was produced from the 30's up to the 80's.

That's not to say that nobody is producing good music today. But all of the hip hop inspired music is just instantly forgettable crap.

Somebody linked this video a while ago and I've watched it many times. I think it's excellent. So I guess that there's still good music being produced. But it doesn't seem to generate the interest that the tired, old hip hop crap continues to do.

The only thing I can figure is,..much "music" today represents something totally different to today's young people than it did to the past few generations.

I don't know what that is, however.

I think, maybe,..that it's to demonstrate some type of rebellion that really doesn't have anything to do with music. But that's just a guess.

BTW, "Gage" is an acceptable spelling for an object used for measuring diameter. As in "pin gage". So as one's earlobes stretch to fit one gage, a larger gage may then be put in place.

Say what one wants about gauge v gage.

To me it's like pleaded v pled..........even though it seems "pleaded" is more popular in use......................it's WRONG.

The dude didn't pleaded guilty..........he pled guilty.........................

Just like he didn't bleeded out on the sidewalk..........he bled out.

Gauge is correct!

Gage just became popular because folks can't spell. wink

Geno

PS, "Gage" is also a personal name...................I wouldn't spell my coworker's name "Gauge" now, would I?

I sort of get the gauge thing, I think. I wear writing instruments (aka pencils) on my ears quite often. Or I just stick 'em in my 'fro if I be needin' a haircut.

Never know when you might need a gauge. But it begs the question, wtf do these things gauge?

Only reference I know of is Leviticus 19:28 "You must not make cuts in your body for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourself. I am Yahovah."

Or you could file it under One Corinthians 10:23 :“Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything is edifying"

Ma'am is outdated Jim. You need to ask the subject what pronoun they'd prefer you use, then proceed.

Nothing personal.

Jim,

what about the one a friend has on his back?

Every one of his vertebrae from his belt line to his neck, tastefully done in single color with shading, by his brother who has done a lot of work for "stars", not done by a jailhouse "artist". Might go below his belt........................I didn't ask.

Anatomically correct too.

Or maybe,

Yo, witness, what the dude look like? Any ink showing?

Geno

PS I'll be glad when I pass I won't have to keep track of the gender neutral crap

PPS although, maybe that will be hell for some of us?

Geno, you're assuming it's a dude. You can't do that. You must use gender neutral pronouns until they tell you how to address them. We need to bring the 'fire into the 21st century.
When I catch my self in time......which I usually do.....I say something like, Hey, you...............Person of Interest!

They all know that Person of Interest really means something else.............but they are okay with it.

You're stil in America, likely safe to use pronouns apropos to the subject's appearance.
Pirate seems like a nice guy, maybe he could get a job house sitting or working for Visiting Angels.
I think Pirate might have taken my order at Popeyes last week
Lord I hope you didn’t ask for special sauce

Right, mea culpa and all that.

Should have said what'd the Perp look like. Of course, I would have to preface that with alleged. Don't want to influence reality, do we.

How many times do you need to type this? We get it. You don’t agree with adjectives.
