The big brown truck finally delivered my McMillan today so that I could give the custom a new home. It still has to be bedded and then the load developement starts. Here are the details. Remington 700 Action, Blueprinted, Lugs Lapped and bolt face squared. Douglas #5 Fluted barrel @ 24, 1-9 twist, chambered in 280 Remington by Mickey Coleman McMillan New Remington Varmit 33% OD, 33% Black, 33% Light Tan, 1% Invisible UFO Mojo glitter. Pre lawsuit Factory trigger set at a crisp 2.5# Mil Spec OD Cerakote Ti Fluted bolt and 2.5 bolt knob by Kampfeld Talley Lightweights Swarovski AV 6-18X50mm TDS Plex Scope The pics aren't the greatest but I broke my finger on Saturday so my normally bad picture taking skills are worse than normal. The pics make the stock look lighter colored than it really is.

Loose that big azz ugly scope and the Kenworth shifter knob you stuck on the bolt handle and that would be a pretty good looking rifle No BS, that's a great rig and a good choice of cartridge for your panhandle bucks.

It weighs 9.0 Lbs just at it sits. I knew it wouldn't be a light weight when I was planning it. DT

That weight isn't too bad for what it is. I thought it would be heavier. Nice looking setup. I bet its a real shooter. What bullets are you planning on running?
