I don't know either. Never had one at that cost. But I sure do see others with them. Priorities, I guess.

This situation bothers me as I fear the shutdown will fall on top of our junior enlisted folks, who live "paycheck to paycheck".
(Those of us who are in the higher pay-grades, whether on AD or retired, will be little affected, as we generally have some "money in the bank".)

While I appreciate the individual geneorosity of a few commercial companies & our own forum members, what NEEDS doing is that EVERY member of the forum, who supports our Armed Forces, should DEMAND that every congress-critter IMMEDIATELY END the shutdown OR face our ANGER at the ballot box this Fall & in ALL of the elections to come.

I'm "sick to death" of REQUESTING that the Congress serve the whole USA,rather than their political party. = It's, imo, PAST TIME to start telling our "representatives" to conform to our desires or face losing their job.

ONCE MORE, the DIMocRATS got their @ss handed to them & LOOK evermore STUPID & FECKLESS. = The DIMocRATS Party is "on life support", as THOUSANDS of registered Democrats each month change their registration to: Independent or "of no party".
(For the 1st time since the 1920s the DIMs have less registered members than the GOP does in 2018, per the FEC.)
