Native Texans, and I’m a native, are generally proud to be such and are prone to boasting. My maternal grandfather was a decent size rancher so I obviously grew up hunting. . Obviously... And your point is?

Hamtramck is about as far away from Upper MI as you can get and still remain in the state. The vast majority of Muslims in the state living in the Detroit area, which is an 8 hour ride from where I lived in Upper MI. HAHA no chit. Someone thinking Hamtramck is even remotely northern MI. Thats where Henry Ford dumped all his waste and trash from Highland Park. Dont ever think Wayne and Oakland County are part of the Michigan i live in. Dearborn has about as many Iraqi's as Iraq anymore.

Thanks! In the grand scheme of things we "the hunters and outdoor enthusiasts" need to cover each other's back as our 2nd Amendment rights are being attacked every day! Our hunting rights are constantly being attacked, where we shoot etc. etc! We need to stand together cuz we all have skin in this game! But, but, you don't really claim to have real hunting down there in that thick brush country do you. I mean, don't you just drive up to the feeder on that 100,000 WMA 5 min before your feeder goes off and shoot the one you want when they run in?  Almost like killing deer in New York state. Just find and fertilize an old apple orchard and get up in a apple tree in season and shake crap outta it. They can hear those apples hit the ground from 200 yds and they just come running in.  Damn, that got me all nostalgic for the cider smell of fermenting apples in the fall in New York State, usually from some overgrown farmstead in the woods originally planted in a whole different era, the original owners likely buried somewhere around there. Not a bad way to be remembered actually.

Sheesh. I cant even remember jerking yank...,uh, northerners chains by saying upper Mi. I ain't going back to see if it was an auto correct tablet miscorrection either. Ha, to me everything in Mi is upper but I do know upper Mi has great woods and hunting and fishing if it does have too many woofs. Sorry, upper Mi. Have a merry Christmas.
