As I said, old eyes can only dilate to 5mm, so on the lower powers if it is transmitting a 15mm exit pupil or a 7mm exit pupil, in practical use, it will make no difference whatsoever, you are only using 5mm of it. You can see it at arms length, but you don't mount your scope at arms length.
