duckster Campfire Tracker D Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 4,460	The Explorer with the EB is now at 2500 miles. Still about 18 in town and 22 on the highway, a bit better if 65 mph or less. Looking at getting a 2015 F-150 with the EB, probably the 3.5 liter version vs. the 2.7. Just did a trip to MN with the current Avalanche with the 5.3 liter motor and the average for the 1300 mile trip was 21 mpg. If the EB will do that, I would be happy as the motor definitely has more pull than the 5.3
