I have a new 2014 Ecoboost 4x4 screw with 3.31 gears and 700 miles on the clock!!!!!!! I really like this Motor!!!!! pulls and performs like a Diesel . Just got back from a 300 mile road trip averaged 22 for the trip at 65 and 70 all highway.......This thing will pull Black mountain in NC without coming out of 6th gear.....No worries about the Intercooler Ford took care of the issue , it involved Trucks Built before May 2012....Ford has sold over 500.000 F150s with the Ecoboost engine by far the #1 selling engine!!!!! less than 1% had Intercooler problems.... If I decide I love it and keep it past the 60K warranty!!!! I will buy a Ford ESP extended 100K warranty for a 1000 bucks and keep on rolling!!!!! My 70 year old neighbor Has a new 2014 4x4 with the 5.0 with 8000 miles on it His lifetime average is 14 mpg....
