It already sucks that it's difficult for kids who want to work to find work. Is $15/hr going to improve the job prospects? Methinks not.

If a young person doesn't begin working until they are young adults, it should be no surprise when many of them find other ways to get by or simply work at a half-assed rate. I kind of like the idea of having minimum wage jobs that can employ unskilled willing young people. It helps them learn the value of money. It can also motivate them to improve their ability to earn more through furthering their education and skills. Incremental wage increases are a good thing. Wage doubling is a very bad idea.
