You're right, so lets bump it up to $20/hr. ...Of course $30 would be even better...

Have any of you supporters of min. wages looked at what that hourly pay scale actually costs the employer?

After FICA, insurance costs, training, taxes, f'ups etc. etc. $15/hour will cost $20-$25/hr out of pocket to the employer before jr. even starts breaking even. And who do you think the employer passes those extra costs on too? Because if the employer doesn't, he either employees fewer people to make up the difference, automates, or says "F' It!" and closes up shop.

You can tweek laws all you want but the market will always win in the end.
