So, about to pick one of these up.
I'm a big 300WM fan, but am thinking of going to the 300WSM simply because it fits into a smaller, shorter rifle with almost the same performance and slightly less recoil.
This brings me to my next point. If at all possible, could someone with an 85 in 300wsm or 270wsm chime in with their internal mag length? I want to shoot the 200r Accubond as I have a few hundred of them, and would like to be able to do this without having the bullet eat up all the case capacity. Also, it would be nice to be able to get near the lands and magazine feed.
I'd have to tool up with new dies and brass but thats not so big of a deal. Lastly, does anyone know if the barrels are the same standard contour (.620 muzzle dia.) and simply fluted, or whether they use a thinner profile to begin with?
