I have a Finnlight in 30-06 and other model 85's in Magnum and had one short mag action. I wouldn't want a Finnlight in a full size magnum action. If you want magnum performance in a FL the wsm is what I'd get. For my uses I'm happy with the 30-06 and would consider a 308 length action if doing over.
