We adopted a feral kitten that showed up here a couple of years ago. Turned out to be a first-class mouser and ratter. Between her and the black snakes, we don't have much problem with those rodents.
You know how cats will sometimes bring something they have killed and leave it for you? Well, this one (we call her O.D., short for "Other Dog" cause she likes to hang out with the dogs.
