Definitely soft white bread. In the South it would be Bunny Bread.

Either way Dukes mayo for sure!!

BTW there's a deli here in town that serves up a to die for 20 layer non-fried bologna sandwich. Bores Head Bologna sliced wafer thin on white bread. LTM. Dang good sandwich.
