Beretta just came out with the A350 Extreme. 3.5" chamber with Max-5 camo. It has a simple reverse-able safety and you don't need a gunsmith to do it. It doesn't have a all the bells and whistles of an A400, but it's MSRP is $1150 as compared to $1950. My guess is that you could find it under a grand.
