This would be my pick. Both are common enough that you could find ammo most places if your handloads ended up missing five states away from home.

I would probably load one bullet for each and get to know that load in that gun like it had eyes. Modern technology has made both better than they were when they started out.

A 200gr. Nosler would do in bear country and the .243 seems like a better fit on the lower end for antelope, deer, coyotes and such. This from a .270/.375 kinda guy.
