This is the correct answer. If you are deterred from taking a concealed weapon with you, for whatever reason, that particular weapon is not "ideal." You have to find suitable weapons (or weapon) you always take with you under any circumstance. Those are the ideal concealable weapons.
Which is why the Glock 43 occasionally gets the nod, but the 17 is my choice more than 99% of the time. I find I skip the 19 right over, though, between the the 43 and the 17. I guess if I could only have one, it might be the 19, due to it's more middle position between those two, however.
