My .270 WSM is fast becoming my favorite big game getter. It is a Vanguard action, with PacNor 24" stainless barrel, Timney trigger, and Mcmillan Edge stock. It will do 1", three shot groups at 300 yards, with Nosler E-Tip 130 gr. bullets, pushed at 3300 fps. Am working up a load with the Nosler ABLR 150 gr. at around 3150 fps, for bigger stuff at longer ranges.
Recoil is moderate, rifle and scope go right at 8 lbs, and super accuracy- not a lot to like here.
