How old is the original poster? I was an Army Ranger and I will kick your butt?! A junior high mentality if there ever was one.
I have a great friend that served for 24 years in the Army and was a Ranger. I never heard him tell anyone he was a Ranger, he never threatened anyone and he really could kick your butt.
Insecurity sure leads people to act like internet commandos.
