I've paid my own way for a while, plus I pay for may employees.

We still have a problem, when we spend way to close to 20% of our GDP for our healthcare. No other industrial country pays more than half of what we do, and the outcomes are not materially different.

I got to enjoy the hospitality of our local medical rooming establishment due to some DVT's (yay TPA!) last year. Three days to the tune of $77K, retail. Does that seem just a wee bit excessive to just me?

We still have a problem, and it's not insurance, it's the cost of medical care.
