AMEN AND AMEN DUTCH !! they should have the costs in line before they ever started on insurance!!
Cost of medical care is directly related to, in a huge way, all the damn lawsuits these days.
I'm not saying thats the whole thing. But its a major part.
Add in the highly technical abilities to do what used to not be able to do and you get there.
Its not unlike old cars vs new cars that are way more expensive, but way safer..tradeoffs cost money.
