Lynch is Brand name, you want the one that says gobble box, if the one you decide on. The Black Magic is one of the boxes that work when raining or wet, and it does, but changes tone.

The whole purpose of a call is to sound like a turkey, not how much money you spend. You can call turkey in with your mouth, mouth shock call for gobble, and have heard some guys do a pretty impressive gobble, though I haven't been able to get it right yet.

As for expensive calls, buy a Ford/Chevy/Dodge truck. Heat up one of the rear suspension springs, to completely dry it out. Find a road or lane that will stress enough to squeak or croak the spring.

That will call in a turkey too, and pickups come with a lot more useful options than turkey calls do. And, they can probably be had for around 20,000 to 45,000 dollars. Course they might not call a turkey any better than a corncob peg, and piece slate you picked off the hillside.

Got Heartbreaker, it is a good call, as is the BoxCutter.
The Raspy Hen is model of call, without digging it out, believe made by H.S. or Woods Wise. Can be very lound, and makes one of the most echoing clucks, right up there with the paddle boxes. It can be tuned also.

You got to get in the turkey's head to call him successfully. No, no one can do that actually, but we can sure try to give the turkey what he wants. It's called woodsmanship and how to apply it when hunting. Experience and each situation MIGHT result in success. Killing a turkey, does not neccessarly mean you have LEARNED a thing about what GOT you that turkey.
