I like the Savage 1920s, but the neatest 250-3000 that I've ever owned is a Winchester/USRA 70 Lightweight Carbine that I installed in a Featherweight stock. It has all of the good features of the Savage 1920, plus a good trigger and it doesn't need to be modified to handle a scope. A close 2nd on the neat factor is the Ruger 77 RSI, but I like mannlicher style stocked rifles and many folks don't.
