I think Paco never checked his loads with a pressure gauge. If I need more performance, I will move up to a larger, or more efficient cartridge.
The load I use in all my 30-30 rifles is 34.5 grains of IMR 4320 pushing the Speer 170 grain hot core FP bullet.
